Tip of the Day

Excersing good judgment is a process; not an event.

What is judgment?  To me judgment is making a decision and trying to predict the outcome.  To predict the outcome of judgment you must have some tools in place.

Now you've decided to start your business.  The fear is gone.  You are not afraid of not having money.  You are not afraid of what your friend and family might say.  You have now stepped out of the box.,  Money is not available but your judgment is saying, "Start anyway."  You are going to have a business.  You have made a judgment.  The business process is now beginning.

What is your company's name?  Naming a company is pretty simple.  Most people name their company after themselves.  Some name their company after their parents. Try to make your company name meaningful and catchy.  Something people will remember and relate too.  Remember, record your company's name with the state you plan to incorporate in (when you get to that point).  Don't pick a name already in use.  If you can pick a name that can or will relate to your service or product.  You can change your company's name.  However, pick a name you would want to keep for life.
