Practical Leased Time Tip of the Day
I am fascinated by judgment. What is judgment? It's certainly not a science. If it is a science, then, people could repeat the same results over and over again. Yes. Some people do repeat good judgments over and over again. How do they do thus and others can't?
I don't believe it is something you wake up with. Lets start with experience. My observation is that people that continually make good judgment decisions have much experience in their area of expertise. Or, have worked in a variety of occupations to help supplement experience.
Have you ever had to work with a leader and it seems like he/she was pulled from under a rug. Or, you are told, "train the leader."
Experience alone is not the entire arena of judgment. Look around your area and you will see others things that help with judgment or decision making.

How do you make a good judgment? Since making a judgment is not a science, problems you encounter are different from each other. So is the way you handle the problem. What might work for one person; may not work for you. The same goes for how you solve the problem. However, the final results should be solving the problem in a positive manner.
When making a judgment on solving a problem several things must be considered. First, you must continually assess your areas to keep a handle on what's going on. Do you have a Travon Martin in your house? So many questions remains unanswered. For instance, we are told to walk away. Why didn't he just walk away. After all the police dispatcher told Mr. Zimmerman not to follow the teenager, Travon Martin. To me this show a disrespect for the police. It indicates that he was intent on stopping the teenager. His intent was to stop him which developed into an alteration. Mr. Zimmerman, trained in martial art; knocks the teenager to the grown. Unaware of how strong the teenager was, he pulls his gun and shoots and kills the teenager. Is this a likely story of the tragic death of Travon Martin.

How many ideas have you had but only a few were productive. An idea is like a dream. That one big dream that just want go away. Other ideas pop into your head. But, this one idea keep coming back. The one idea that keeps coming back is the one that you should focus on. This idea is mostly likely your dream. Commit yourself to your dream. Share your dream liberally. It's disappointing when someone say, "That's a stupid idea." Or, you can't do that." Have you ever had a dream and shared it with someone and they profited from your dream? I would like to heat from folks that shared a dream or an idea and someone else got credit for it?

You might there a little whole; then, your basic information is taken. Finally, the doctor will see you. The doctor takes about 40 - 45 minutes. How much time have passed since your arrival at the docyor's office? Take a look at the time you give your customers? Is it worth the wait ?

This is a useful tip for me. This company is an E-Commerce company. We are busy all the time. Keeping on track and getting things done could not be done without a schedule. A schedule do not have to be complicated. Merely, a list of things to be done for the day is sufficient. However, you can add start and ending times. My best schedule is kept on my IPOD calendar. It's printed and I keep it on me for quick references. This really keep me on track.
I dislike not keeping on schedule, or showing up late for an appointment. I certainly find it not tasteful to schedule consulting for a client and not produce a well define and thought out product. This is where my schedule saves me. My schedule is prepared for me but I have the final responsibility of ensuring it's workable. It shows respect when you are on time and prepared.
Think about this. Your doctor's appointment is at 9:30AM. You arrive at 9:00AM. You sign in and wait another 30 minutes. Then, you are finally called to the examination room. You wait their for another 30 minutes. Now, a hour and a half have passed for a 15-30 minute meeting. Are you happy? What would happen if you let your clients wait? Would you want to be treated in this manner?
