In the process of buying investment properties, I suggest contacting a realtor in the areas you intend to purchase your property. Simply, ask the realtor to provide you a listing of the houses, apartments, duplexes you are thinking about purchasing. A realtor will gladly do so at no cost. Its a free service. In my search to find a house (single family, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, up to $35,000). I found Gus. Gus is a realtor. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to work for me. I had a list of 15 houses I was researching. Gus, took my list and narrowed it down to about 9 houses. Some of the houses on my list were sold, pending sale, or did not meet my standards. Thus, the 9 houses. Looking forward to next time, when I continue with researching your list of houses.
Hello followers, my current readers, and those that have dropped off the list. The last time I posted about investment properties, it was October 11, 2017. That's a 6 months ago. If you want to get the best property and the one that fits your investment objective, it takes time. Gus and I looked at 9 houses. During the house hunting trip we got to know a little about each other. Gus plays in a band. He was very knowledgeable and likeable, He sensed what I was looking to buy. One of his greatest attributes was his likeability and his ability to help me look at the interior and exterior and say, "no."
Keep in mind, the nine houses were not new. So be prepared to do some "tender loving care" or property maintenance. Gus knew my price for property maintenance. As I looked at the houses, he also looked. He often pointed out areas that would make my property maintenance price range sky rocket. When you are looking at many houses, you have to make sure you know what you want and your price range for "tender loving care" (maintenance). After looking at 9 house, I excluded 5 and focused on the 4 remaining houses. Follow me to see what happened with the remaining four.
